eCycle Group's school recycling program was designed with kids, teachers and parents in mind. Unlike single cartridge mail-in programs, our system encourages experiential education. By gathering cartridges and phones in school, children see the collective results of their effort, making it easier to understand the positive impact on the environment.

Three staff Members of the IT Department at Dominion High School, Sterling, VA, used $2,500, earned by recycling empty cartridges and used cell phones with eCycle Group, to purchase a new technology suite. The new technology, including external hard drives, speakers, WI-FI projectors and laptops, facilitates advanced learning in the classroom.
According to Technology Staff Member, Denise Ellison, without profits generated from recycling cartridges, "we'd probably have to apply for grants, or plead to the county for help."
EASY TO START
Once you're ready to start your recycling fundraiser, visit our Request Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycle Kit page, complete the requested information, and click submit. We will ship out a Recycle Kit that includes:
- Packing and shipping instructions.
- Prepaid shipping labels at no cost.
Upon receiving your shipment, we will inspect your cartridges, total their value and credit your account. We issue checks twice a month. Please note that eCycle Group can only pay for postage if a box contains at least 20 inkjet or 10 laser cartridges that are on our Cartridge List.
SUSTAINABLE
Once you're under way, the continued success of your fundraiser depends on
your support network. We will work closely with teachers, principals and parent organizations to make sure that your program has all the necessary resources, including our SCHOOL YARD, a site made for you by eCycle Group and your peers.
