OPTION 1
Collect and Ship From Individual Offices Throughout Your
Campus
Just as with toner cartridges, you can elect to set up
one account for your entire institution,
or establish a
separate account for your participating student group.
Inkjet Collection Boxes
eCycle Group provides collection
boxes that hold approximately 200 empty inkjet cartridges.
These boxes are placed in high-traffic areas such
as resident halls, cafeterias and popular
gathering places.
Students place their empty inkjet cartridge into a plastic
bag, supplied by
eCycle Group, then drop the cartridge
into our collection box.
Your program point person periodically
transfers these cartridges into a shipping container,
affixes a prepaid Fedex Ground label, and ships the box to
eCycle Group.
OPTION 2
Set up a Return System
Through a Centralized Location
Use your campus mail or internal collection system to
gather inkjet shipping boxes to a central shipping location
where they can be palletized into larger quantities.
Program Costs - Cartridge Pricing
- Shipping
There is no cost associated with the eCycle Group campus
cartridge recycle program. We will never ask you to pay
for collection materials, nor will we try to sell you
office supplies.
The secondary market for inkjet and
laser cartridges is continually changing, therefore the
prices for empty cartridges are subject to change. We
recommend that you periodically check our current prices
at: www.ecyclegroup.com.
A small number of HP, Lexmark and Canon
cartridge models cannot be recycled, and have no buy back
value. This is also the case with all Epson models, which
are not actually printer cartridges, but only ink tanks.
These models will not appear on our list.
We will provide complete tracking and
accounting details for all recycled cartridges and the
revenues they generate.
Upon your request, eCycle Group can
donate revenues from your recycled cartridges to the charity
of your choice. We will provide receipts and documentation
of all donations made and credited to your institution
through our program.
